This is a different post for me: My Favorite Beauty Products

I haven't blogged about beauty products in awhile...not because I don't love them, but because on a day to day basis, I don't really get all dolled up. I mean, I work at a plumbing company and I'm pregnant. Some might even call me "smudged." Oh well, I'm doing the best I can :) One of my favorite pastimes is spending time browsing the aisles at good ol' Walgreens. It's what I'm good at. I could get lost in there for hours. I'm one of those people who loves a good Chanel product, but you won't see me turn my nose to a 99 cent nail polish from the drug store either. So without further ado, here are the products I am currently LOVING:

Bath & Body Works Cashmere Glow Shower Gel
I absolutely LOVE this shower gel. I am normally a simple bar-of-soap type girl, Caress being my favorite, but my grandma got me this shower gel for Christmas and I have used it every single day since then. It smells incredible. Yes, it is pricey for a package of body wash. It is $11.00, so I would consider this an indulgence for sure. My suggestion would be to buy it and use it a few times a week or for special days/nights! I warn you though...this is nearly impossible to do because it smells so amazing. Oh, and if you have the lotion and lather that on after your shower, whoaaaa, you will be smelling like a fairy princess....that resides from the heavens (Trey...if you're actually reading this, h&g: hi and goodbye).

Sebastian Shaper Plus + Hairspray
This here is my favorite go-to hairspray. It has what I would say is a medium/less than medium hold. This is one of those products that I love to use after you blow out your hair straight and just need a little something to set it/texturize. Like I said, the hold isn't super crazy, so this isn't the spray for you if you are trying to make a 3" tease stick up at the crown of your head or for setting a ringlet prom-do. It just has a very fresh scent and is a good overall basic hair spray if you want to have your hair be "sprayed" but not sticky or hard as a rock from being frozen in place. This hairspray is $16.95. Again, it is a bit on the higher side, but my hair is short so I am justifying the price because I won't go through the bottle quickly at all.

Maybelline Colossal Volume Express Mascara
This is my favorite mascara right now. I've tried cheap and expensive mascara from $3.00/tube to $30.00/tube. I think this is the best bang for your buck. I LOVE the brush that this mascara comes with. It's great for lengthening and spreading your lashes out. One of my biggest pet peeves is clumping/spider looking eyelashes. I love this brush because that never happens when I use this stuff. This is around $6-7 I believe and worth every penny! I won't ever go back to using "designer" mascara!

Essie Minimalistic
Essie Minimalistic is my favorite pale pink/off white. It's just enough that you look like you have something on your nails, yet it's not overbearing. This color is so clean yet not shear. I'm not a fan of sheer. If you are, then this may not be the pale pink for you. This is my go-to nail color whenever I just want to be clean and classic and am tired of seeing color on my hands/toes. This polish is roughly $8.00 I think? Also, just now when I searched this color on the Essie website, it stated that this color is no longer available but to visit your local salon? I've had this color for a few months now. I'm sure it's available for purchase somewhere, I'm just not sure where exactly.

Well, that's all for now. I could keep going, but I think I'll save a few of my other favorites for round 2! What's one of your "must have" products? Have a great weekend :)

Love it! I am so in love w/Essie's mademoiselle, as my go-to for a sheer, pinky nude. That and I fell in love all over again w/OPI's bubble bath. I'll have to try this hairspray, thank you for the suggestion.
I found my fave mascara too, Almay's intense i-color. the brush is the same as yours, and i love that! thanks for sharing!!
