My Psalm 139 Prayer for Baby Fen

I'm feeling happy, inspired, blessed, joyful, and very thankful tonight. I have been following our pastor's wife, Kerri Weems on Instagram for some time now and her pictures and captions always bless me and get me thinking. Over the last two days, Pastor Kerri has posted a few pictures of some prayers that she has been praying for marriages and children while participating in Awakening. This got me thinking about Fen of course, (our baby who will be here come April!!) so I decided to take the time to write out some Bible verses tonight and pray over Fen using these verses :) I am really bad about writing down my prayers, but this really helps when you don't really know what exactly to pray for or if you feel like you are rambling. Just go find a chapter in the Bible that applies to what you're going through right now and start writing out the verses and put your name/situation in the blanks.

I'll show you what I did below so that you can learn if you have never done it :)

Psalm 139:
"Thank you, Lord for creating Fen's inmost being; you knit him together in my womb.
I praise you because Fen is fearfully and wonderfully made! Your works are wonderful,
I know that full well. Fen's frame was not hidden from you when he was made in the secret place,
when he was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw his unformed body; all the days ordained for Fen are written in your book, before any of his days have come to be!"

These are such sweet praise verses. I have always loved these verses when thanking God for creating me, but these words bring on a whole new meaning for me thanking God for my little baby whom I have never even seen or touched with my hands.

Wherever you are today or whatever you are going through, there are verses that you can pray over your own life and loved ones. There are a lot of good verses in Ephesians that I love to do this with. If you need help finding one, let me know :) I will help you find one! Have a great weekend :) Xoxo
